What each plan adds
Free ($0)
Up to 250 active subscribers, 2,500 emails a month and 2 user seats. You get 3 automations of up to 5 steps, 1 website and 1 landing page, 3 signup forms, 1 digital product or booking, all three email editors, and live chat support for the first 14 days, then community support. The MailerLite logo stays on. The full breakdown is in MailerLite free plan explained.
Comfort (from $12/month)
MailerLite pitches Comfort at “sending regular newsletters and running automations.” Everything in Free, plus:
- 10× your tier in monthly emails, 3 user seats and 24/7 email support.
- 50 automations of up to 100 steps, 10 websites and landing pages, 10 signup forms, and 5 digital products or bookings.
- Paid newsletters and recurring subscriptions, RSS campaigns, auto resend and custom domains.
- Logo removal, unlimited templates, the preference center, the AI writing assistant, smart sending and multivariate testing.
Power (from $25/month)
“Best for frequent senders, teams and AI agents.” Everything in Comfort, plus unlimited monthly emails (fair use), unlimited seats, unlimited automations, websites, landing pages, forms, products and bookings, multiple automation triggers, exclusive partner discounts and 24/7 live chat.
Enterprise (custom)
For lists above 200,000 subscribers. MailerLite says Enterprise pricing “depends on your active subscriber count and any add-ons.” It adds a dedicated success manager, onboarding and training, account audits, a dedicated IP with deliverability consultation, and SLA, NDA and custom DPA agreements. There’s no published price; you contact sales.
Add-ons and discounts
- Dedicated IP: an add-on you request from MailerLite. Its sources differ on which plans qualify (pricing.md lists it under Comfort; its site overview says Power and Enterprise), so confirm with MailerLite. It doesn’t publish a price, and its dedicated IP page recommends one for senders of 50,000 or more emails a week.
- Yearly billing: 10% off, paid as one payment for 12 months.
- Nonprofits: 30% off any paid plan, with proof of status sent to MailerLite’s support. Discounts don’t stack: the billing help says the biggest one applies, so a nonprofit on yearly billing gets 30% instead of 10%.
- No multi-account discount: each account needs its own plan.
What MailerLite costs per year, by our arithmetic
Annual totals at common list sizes, multiplying MailerLite’s published monthly prices by 12:
| Subscribers (up to) | Comfort, paid monthly | Comfort, billed yearly | You save yearly | Power, billed yearly |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| 500 | $144 | $129.60 | $14.40 | $270 |
| 1,000 | $228 | $205.20 | $22.80 | $421.20 |
| 2,500 | $396 | $356.40 | $39.60 | $529.20 |
| 5,000 | $588 | $529.20 | $58.80 | $745.20 |
| 10,000 | $1,068 | $961.20 | $106.80 | $1,393.20 |

Cost per subscriber. If your list fills its tier, Comfort works out to about 1.9¢ per subscriber a month at 1,000 ($19), 0.89¢ at 10,000 ($89) and 0.44¢ at 100,000 ($439), by our arithmetic. The price per subscriber falls as you grow, but you pay for the top of your tier, so 1,001 subscribers costs the same as 2,500.
Nonprofit example. 30% off Comfort’s $19 monthly price at 1,000 subscribers is $13.30 a month, by our arithmetic.
Against Kit at 1,000 subscribers. On yearly billing, MailerLite Comfort is $17.10 a month and Kit Creator is $33 a month ($390 a year, per Kit’s pricing page). That’s $205.20 against $390, or $184.80 a year less on MailerLite, by our arithmetic. Kit’s free plan covers far more subscribers, though; see Kit vs MailerLite.
How billing works as your list grows
From MailerLite’s plan and billing help article and pricing FAQ:
- You pay for active subscribers. Unsubscribed and bounced contacts don’t count. The count is cumulative within a billing cycle, so someone who was active and then deleted still counts until your billing anniversary.
- Monthly plans upgrade automatically when your active subscribers or your monthly sends go over the plan limit. You see a notice in your account, and the new tier is pro-rated for the rest of the cycle. You can cancel a scheduled upgrade in Plan and billing.
- Going over on sends is temporary. MailerLite’s example: a Comfort 5,000 account that sends more than 50,000 emails moves up to Comfort 8,000, then back to 5,000 at renewal.
- Yearly plans are one payment for 12 months. If you go over your limit mid-year, MailerLite charges a pro-rated amount for the higher tier for the time left.
- Downgrades and cancellations take effect at the end of the current billing cycle. Moving from monthly to yearly takes effect right away.
- Pausing: you can pause a paid plan for 2 months, once per calendar year. Free limits apply while paused.
- Payment: credit card, debit card or PayPal. VAT or other taxes may apply.
One warning from the same article: deleting subscribers and re-uploading new ones to get around your plan’s limits breaks MailerLite’s terms of service.
Which MailerLite plan should you pick?
- Stay on Free while you have under 250 subscribers, don’t need paid newsletters or a custom domain, and send fewer than 2,500 emails a month.
- Pick Comfort for most newsletters. By our arithmetic, a weekly issue uses roughly 4–5× your list each month, which fits inside Comfort’s 10× allowance with room for automations. It’s also the cheapest plan with paid newsletters, RSS campaigns and logo removal.
- Pick Power if you send more than 10× your list a month, need more than 50 automations or 3 seats, want multiple triggers in one automation, or want live chat support. At 2,500 subscribers the gap is $16 a month ($49 vs $33).
- Ask about Enterprise above 200,000 subscribers, or if you need a dedicated success manager and custom agreements.
- Pay yearly once you’re confident about your list size; it saves 10%, and mid-year growth is pro-rated rather than locked out.
